Scholarship Information
An element of the Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida's mission is to provide scholarship monies to nurses and nursing students whose contributions to healthcare will benefit the communities of Northeast Florida. The Scholarship Committee of the Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida regularly seeks applications from individuals for consideration of scholarship awards.
Funds are available for nurses seeking specialty area certifications as well as for students registered in all levels of formal nursing education. Nurses may also receive money for research-related expenses or attending conferences.
The Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida, Inc. has awarded over $70,000 in scholarships to nurses in the northeast Florida area.
Our scholarship fund is distributed to successful applicants according to the below schedule:
| % of Available Funds | Category of Applicant |
| 50% | Undergraduate, RN to BSN, and graduate level nursing students and nurses re-entering the profession after several lapsed years |
| 25% | Nurses requesting money for studies leading to a certificate or certification, and research-related expenses |
| 25% | Nurses requesting money for presentation of scholarly works at nursing conferences, attendance at nursing conferences, and other requests |
