The Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida 2009 Celebration
This year's recognition of nursing's finest was held on May 9th with a gala affair at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Jacksonville. Centric around this Celebration was the theme:
Honoring Nurses Who C.A.R.E.*
All present were pleased to honor outstanding nurses in our community, and raise monies for the establishment of Nursing Scholarship/Grant Funds to benefit nurses in Northeast Florida. The 2009 Celebration Event was made possible through corporate, health care and community sponsors

Eligibility Criteria:
- Current Florida nursing license,
- Three years active practice as RN,
- Practicing/practiced in Northeast Florida
[Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, St. John, Flagler] - Significant C.A.R.E. contribution to patients or to the nursing profession.
*C.A.R.E Criteria:
- Clinical or Community
- Administration or Advocacy
- Role Model or Research
- Education or Entrepreneur
